Pagani Huayra Roadster BC in Toxic Green and Exposed Carbon: The Hypercar That Refuses to Whisper

When Horacio Pagani builds a car, he doesn't build a car. He sculpts a piece of art that happens to go 238 mph.

But even by Pagani standards, this Huayra Roadster BC is different. Wrapped in a violent, bright green over full exposed dark carbon fiber, it’s not trying to be elegant. It’s trying to be unforgettable. And it succeeds.

This is one of only 40 Roadster BCs ever made. And this spec might be the most aggressive of them all.

The Legend Behind The Letters: What BC Really Means

BC is not a trim level. It stands for Benny Caiola.

Benny was Horacio Pagani's first customer, his first investor, and his best friend for over 50 years. He was the man who bought the first Zonda when no one knew who Pagani was. When he passed away in 2010, Horacio promised to honor him with his most extreme creations.

The Huayra BC Coupe and Roadster BC are that promise. They are not just more powerful Huayras. They are lighter, more radical, more track-focused, and built with a level of obsessive detail that borders on madness.

The Roadster BC was unveiled in 2019 with one impossible goal: make a roadster that is just as light and just as rigid as the coupe. Pagani did it. Both cars weigh exactly 1,250 kg dry.

Anatomy of a Statement: Breaking Down The Green and Carbon Scheme

A standard Huayra is beautiful. A Roadster BC in this color scheme is dangerous.

This isn't a factory green paint. It's a meticulously executed wrap designed to work *with* the exposed carbon, not against it.

1. The Base: Exposed Dark Carbon Fiber

The entire monocoque, the front clamshell, the side panels, and the rear engine cover are left in exposed dark-tinted carbon. You can see the weave. It’s not black. It’s deep, layered carbon with depth. This is Pagani’s signature - Carbo-Titanium HP62 G2 and Carbo-Triax, a material that is lighter and stronger than regular carbon fiber.

2. The Slash: Toxic Green Accents

The bright green - similar to Pagani's Verde Scandal and Verde Fluorescent specs - is applied with surgical precision. It traces the front splitter, the dive planes, the side skirt aero flicks, the roof intake surrounds, and the massive fixed rear wing. It turns functional aero into visual weapons.

3. Why It Works

Most owners hide carbon. This owner weaponized it. The contrast makes the car look lower, wider, and faster even when parked. Under the Florida sun, the green pops like neon while the dark carbon swallows light. It’s a spec built for photos, for video, and for making every other hypercar in the room look boring.

The Heart of the Beast: The AMG V12

Open the rear clamshell and you’ll find the reason this car exists.

The M158. A 6.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V12 built by hand at Mercedes- AMG in Affalterbach, exclusively for Pagani.

This is not the same V12 you find in an AMG GT. Pagani worked with AMG to develop smaller turbochargers for instant response, a new intercooler layout, and a bespoke ECU calibration. It uses a dry-sump lubrication system so it can sit as low as possible in the chassis.

The Final Numbers:

Engine: 6.0L M158 60-Degree V12 Twin-Turbo

Power Output: 800 horsepower @ 5,900 RPM

Torque: 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft) from 2,000 RPM

Transmission: 7-Speed Xtrac Sequential Transverse Gearbox

Chassis: Carbo-Titanium Monocoque

0-60 mph: 2.3 seconds

Top Speed: 217+ mph (electronically limited, roadster)

Production: 40 units worldwide

It breathes through four exhausts made of titanium, with that signature six-pipe cluster at the back that shoots blue flames on overrun.

More Than Specs: Why the Roadster BC Matters

You can buy a Bugatti Chiron that is faster in a straight line. You can buy a Koenigsegg that has more tech.

But you can't buy another Pagani. Horacio still personally approves every single car. The interior is still stitched by hand. The aluminum switches are still milled from a single block. The badge is still hand-painted.

The Huayra Roadster BC is the end of an era. It's the last, most extreme expression of the non-hybrid, pure V12 Huayra before the Utopia takes over. A naturally brutal, analog-feeling monster in a world going electric.

And in this toxic green and exposed carbon spec, it’s not just a collector’s item. It’s a statement of intent.

It says: I didn’t buy this to hide it in a climate-controlled garage in West Kendall. I bought it to be seen. To be heard. To be feared.

This is not a hypercar. This is art with a war cry.
